The photographer writes: "The above scene
was three days after the U.S. Air Force and Army Apaches attacked
a huge convoy of Iraqis fleeing Kuwait in civilian vehicles full
of contraband of every sort. The smell of death was still prevalent
when I took this photo, but the vast majority of body parts had
been policed up and buried." |
